Harriet Dickin racing, a family run racing yard based at the beautiful Upper Twinhoe Farm just south of Bath, Somerset. HDR has predominantly national hunt horses but has the facilities and license for Flat horses as well.

We have been racehorse owners for nearly forty years and it has been an absolute joy to support Harriet and her team and share in her enormous enthusiasm since she took over the reins from her father Robin in 2022. Harriet has been closely involved with horses in general and racehorses in particular all her life and it clearly shows in the meticulous quality of care she and her team give to each individual horse bringing the best that is possible out of them. Since she started training Harriet has consistently improved many horses who may have otherwise lost their way and has an impressive win and place strike rate.
Harriet’s owners enjoy and value her exemplary communication skills and are always fully aware of the current condition of and plans for their horses.

Harriet and everyone at HDR are a pleasure to work with. They really understand horses and how to develop them and crucially put horse care first. Harriett is always available to discuss race plans and welfare and at a young age has a wealth of knowledge and innovative ideas to improve her horses and staff, to the benefit of our beloved sport.

Everything is taken care of
I have had two horses with Harriet and her team for around two years. Aside from fantastic training and welfare I noticed that we have only been out of the places once with two winners! I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Everything is taken care of and nothing is too much trouble.
